Even though it’s called Swim Week, it was more of a Swim Weekend for me. I decided to attend shows and events only during the weekend instead of the whole week.
In case you are wondering what Miami Swim Week is, I like to consider it the fashion week of swimwear. This is my third time going so I had a good gauge of what I wanted to see and do during the week. Swim Week is a hectic time because like any fashion week, there are so many shows and events happening and you quickly realize that it’s just not realistic to attend everything. If you want a more in-depth look on what a full Miami Swim Week is like, check out my recap blog post and YouTube video from previous years. On Saturday, I went and checked out some brands. I had the chance to see the collections that were featured on the runway and met the designers up close & personal. On Sunday, I stopped by Monica Hansen’s Spa Day. There were massages, light bites, and of course, swimsuits. I checked out their collection and was gifted a cute black sparkly bikini. After that I went to a few more shows before ending the evening at Mr. Chow’s (my fave).
